The logo is made up of three English letters. The three"S" in sequence, stands for Shanghai, Security and Service. The pattern of "S"symbolizes the dragon in Ancient China that functions as an apotropaion. The design gives prominence to the occupational charater of security guards. The "SSS"design is like three shields, the images of rigorous attitude and down-to-earth spirit, realistic teamwork and close relationship with the society.

Blue and golden yellow are the two background colors, bright and energetic. Blue presents its honest, credible and trustworthy characters while golden yellow is a real picture of SSSC’s historical achievements. The combination of blue and golden yellow shows a sense of conciseness, clearance and modernizaiton and makes its international character more evident.
